Speaker 1:

What do you do, man? Excuse this truck riding by, but, as you can see on my side there, we don't have to activate today. We don't have to activate today For more. I want to get in.

Speaker 1:

What's the difference between being assertive and being aggressive? It's a big difference. Being assertive is being confident in what you're doing, knowing what you're doing, how you doing it, how you going about the situation? Hey, how you doing about it, how you going about the situation, just more so, being stern and self-worth. You know what I'm saying. That's being assertive. It's just basically your confidence.

Speaker 1:

You know, and a lot of people mistake being assertive with aggression. Now, being aggression comes with loud talk, it comes with anger, it comes with a different mindset, you know. It comes with belittling somebody. It comes with a lot of. It comes with being aggressive, it comes with a lot of things. But you can tell the difference of being aggressive and assertive In the eyes and the body language, in the words that come out the mouth. You can tell the difference in every way. What brings that to mind? What brings that to mind is because, sir, in Colorado there is a lot of people who are people that mistake assertive for aggression. If I know what I'm doing, how I'm doing it, what I got going on, and all that. If I know these things, how could you tell me different? Why would I let you tell me different if I already know? Or maybe let's just say I experienced the situation already. You know, and it comes forth again. Why would I let you give me direction when I know the direction I want to take already? You know.

Speaker 1:

Now a lot of people take it, take it the wrong way, the fact that they heard this podcast, they see me, you know, putting in my work, putting in my groundwork, and they mistake it as wealth. Listen, you got to ground before you shine. Everybody, everybody, want a piece of the pie. That's all I heard, bro. Everybody want a piece of the pie. But don't, nobody want to put in no groundwork, nobody want to put in no footwork. You know it's an old saying that say grind together, shine together. You know that's how you get a team, you get a group of people willing to work not only on the level of their capabilities but a level beyond their capabilities.

Speaker 1:

That's what makes me different, you know, because when I get in a clear mind space, you know, without the cloud, without the judgment, without all that type of stuff, man, it's a different rodeo man. But losing my granny, my OG, man, it hit different. It hit different Because you know that I knew, had a while. You know, before this time it just hit different. You know it put you in a mind state of life was what's next? You know I'm saying.

Speaker 1:

But at the same time, man, I'm out here living life the best way I know how. You know it's a little easy. Everything that glitter ain't gold. I Got to say that again. Everything that glitters is not gold. You know I'm rough around. Every is there is. You know I'm by a four or not not perfect.

Speaker 1:

No one heard man, like I say, I'm still feeling as I'm sitting there talking to y'all. You know I'm making a put, a progress to my success, but to me it's a daily fail. You know, yeah, I achieve certain goals, accomplish certain, certain things in certain aspects of life, but In the words of my maker, it unfold. Bro, I'm lazy as fuck, you know. But you got to think about the reality of the situation.

Speaker 1:

Everybody try to find an easy way out, you know, and I don't understand why. Because the next person gonna have it. Just because you want it easy, which don't make, don't make sense. Let me go and get mine. The whole way, let me work for mine and then I Can determine if I want to spread the love or the joy or whatever the case may be. You know it's on me, it's on me. Then you know I'm a common sense ain't so common, it ain't bro. And a lot of people bite off more than they can chew. Not knowing, not fucking knowing. They asked for a lot of things in life and when they get them, it's like it's, it's to be reckoned with. You know, I'm saying like y'all wanna, y'all wanna mess it up, you know, and it's so simple, it's so simple, you know. But anyways, man, this NTS though, man checking in on STL podcast, y'all get it live, y'all get it live from me. Y'all get it live from me, miss doğ.
